Responsibilites:

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, typically from new clients or accounts. The Sr. Account Executive identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects and engages new clients, develops proposals, and manages the contract process.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Achieving assigned sales targets
  • Established relationships & proven track record
  • Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market
  • Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations
  • Must oversee all sales paperwork and generate sales activity for management
  • Interact positively with clients
  • Team player
 
Skills:

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • 3-5 years of National TV Sales preferred
  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and large client base
  • Must posses analytical skills deemed vital to the sales process (i.e. marketing, programming information, competitive information as wall as analyzing research information)
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Superior business and negotiation skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines on a regular basis
  • College degree essential
