JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, typically from new clients or accounts. The Sr. Account Executive identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects and engages new clients, develops proposals, and manages the contract process.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieving assigned sales targets
- Established relationships & proven track record
- Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market
- Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations
- Must oversee all sales paperwork and generate sales activity for management
- Interact positively with clients
- Team player

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 3-5 years of National TV Sales preferred
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and large client base
- Must posses analytical skills deemed vital to the sales process (i.e. marketing, programming information, competitive information as wall as analyzing research information)
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Superior business and negotiation skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines on a regular basis
- College degree essential
